Apr 30 Post-op Day 4
Drains removed, no concerns. Mild bruising, expected. Patient sleeping at 30-degree elevation. Tolerating soft diet. No fevers. Continuing prophylactic antibiotics. Cleared for short walks.
Apr 27 Post-op Day 1
Splint check. Bilateral pre-auricular and post-auricular incisions clean. Drains x 2 in place, low output. No hematoma, no flap concerns. Pain well controlled with prescription. Plan: drain removal at POD 4, suture removal at POD 7.
Apr 2 Initial Consultation
56yo F. Concern: visible jowling, neck laxity, "tired" appearance. Goal: natural rejuvenation, not "done" look. Exam: moderate jowl descent, mild platysmal banding, good skin quality, excellent bone structure. Plan: deep-plane facelift with platysmaplasty. 4-5 hour case under GA. One-night stay. Surgery scheduled April 26.
Current Medications

  • Cephalexin 500mg — 3x/day x 7 days
  • Acetaminophen 500mg — q6h PRN pain
  • Arnica montana — PRN for bruising
Active Restrictions

Until cleared


  • Sleep at 30° elevation x 2 weeks
  • No lifting > 10 lbs x 4 weeks
  • No vigorous exercise x 6 weeks
  • No saunas or hot tubs x 4 weeks
